Listing Guidelines

ShipShelf is curated. These rules keep the catalog useful for the people browsing it — and worth launching on for the people building. Submissions that don't meet them are rejected with a reason, and you can always fix and resubmit.

  1. 1. Real, working products only

Your product must be publicly accessible at the URL you submit. Landing pages for waitlists are fine if clearly labeled; broken links and placeholder sites are rejected.

  2. 2. You must be affiliated with the product

Submit products you built or officially represent. Community members support launches through upvotes and reviews instead.

  3. 3. Accurate, non-spammy listings

Taglines and descriptions must describe what the product actually does. No keyword stuffing, no misleading claims, no “#1 best tool” fluff.

  4. 4. Quality media

Upload a real logo (512×512 recommended) and genuine product screenshots. Stock photos and AI-generated fake UI screenshots are rejected.

  5. 5. One listing per product

Major relaunches can be resubmitted after a significant update. Duplicate listings are removed.

  6. 6. Honest engagement

Vote rings, purchased upvotes, and fake reviews result in removal and account bans. Reviews must reflect genuine experience with the product.

  7. 7. No prohibited products

Nothing illegal, deceptive (including impersonation or scam products), or designed primarily to harm. We reserve final editorial judgment.
